Curiously i didnt find Cape and Cowl when i looked for it recently, guessing it shut down. Wondering what the new hotness is.

the landscape's definitely different, so i'd have to see what games are out there
there was an interest check i liked a couple months ago, but i don't think it's moved forward since
so the prospects are basically looking at where people on my timeline are and how they're vibing
doesn't help that games have mostly gone the "invite only" route
the number of open to every games is dwindling

yeah p much, some games are a bit more open with the invites while others are more strict

i thik dwrp gave up on getting many newbies a long time ago
Seems like a weird direction, you'd think they'd always be looking for new blood
it's an aging, dwindling community just looking for ways to have its fun without getting too overwhelmed with cast sizes
there also ppl that just don't want to play with certain other ppl and doing things this way means they can curate their game
Well, i'll still give it a shot and see if theres any options in my salvaged network. Or failing that... idk see who wants to make a dnd game or something

yeah the only ones i've done since like 2008 have all been online
we've lost side campaigns because they're all run by the same gm and one gm can only handle so much, but we've kept focus on the main one

Yeah, i was kind of the primary DM for a lot of the games we played. Got burnt out after a while because people were being pretty unreliable about it
