seating charts are literally the worst
if having something fun relating to them helps: at my wedding, we asked friends to draw us fanart of our favorite fictional couples, and used framed prints of them as centerpieces for the tables instead of numbers. Then we also put smaller versions on all the place cards. (family and family friends got Normal ships, our friends got the Gay Shit)
I remember this of your wedding! but yeah that's the fun part, I look forward to thinking about table themes instead of seating charts
