finally found someone who would do it, has experience and was good with the schedule but now hes like 'I might need to consider raising the price bc its a 20 min walk each way' and im just like

You dont get paid for commute time?? I was never paid extra when I walked a mile to my job. I was never paid more when it took 1.5 hours each way to get to and from my job??

yeah its not that hard, and hes making like $35 each 30 minute visit or something so. thats a pretty good rate even accounting for a 40 min total commute

and its for 13 visits

buddy is making like $500 to stop by, feed my cats, ja one with a needle, and maybe pet or play with them for a few minutes

and youre seriously considering charging me more for a 20 min walk?? your base cost should include that. im not asking you to trek 10 miles

but like its been so hard finding someone that I feel like I dont have a choice. If he wants to charge more, im stuck with it

Like if you said 'given the medical injections, I might want to charge more', thats totally valid. but its the 20 minute walk thats getting me

that said, he also said one day he couldnt do the full 30 mins so theres still a bit of side-eye if he bumps up the price
