She’s just another Caitlyn Jenner just without the hate politics thrown in for funsies. Just portrays another completely false image of actual transition etc. Must be nice when you don’t have to fight for everything

Hm. I never thought of her in the same box as Caitlyn Jenner. In what way does Dylan portray a false image of transition? I haven't followed her from the beginning so I don't have the same impression of her.

SeanGorham: From what i have seen, she pretty much paid for everything in one hit like Caitlyn did, there was no struggle, no fight with authorities or anything like that, it was all just soooo heartwarmingly easy for her etc. It's the privilege she has.

No struggle? I'm not so sure about that. Does she have privilege? Absolutely. But no amount of money or privilege is insulating her from the hate being spewed at her every day online. Even if that wasn't the case, I don't believe struggling or suffering is a requirement to be "trans enough."

We all get that hate... But we also have to go through years of the system pushing back on us, denying us treatments, therapy etc. whereas those with the money and privilege can pretty much just click their fingers and be all “Hormones please!”... No one says “no” to them.

I totally get that sentiment, but my takeaway is different. Instead of "Dylan sucks because she had it easy and doesn't really understand what it's like to be trans", I think, how come we don't all have that kind of access? We should be directing our ire at the system holding all of us down.

When have i said she sucks or doesn't understand what it's like to be trans? I said she doesn't understand the struggle of a normal transition as she bought hers a la carte... VERY different things. Please don't put words into my mouth thanks...

I was only trying to interpret your argument. It was never my intent to put words in your mouth. That's my fault and I apologize for it.
