i guess having animal is something that promotes zen

they are going to poop in a place you do not want them to, it can't be helped

then they are going to be inordinately happy to see your ugly mug, it can't be helped

they might even roll around in your discarded clothing because they want to smell like your laundry pile, it can't be helped

mom's dog rolled around in goose shit; i don't know if this dog wanting to roll around in my dirty clothing makes me feel better or worse. i guess it requires fewer baths afterwards,,,
