they are one of the most supported brands. they do look good, but have a truly frustrating and annoying interface that requires you turn on MoaP to be able to set up your body even just to put it to BoM
Having built (relatively simple) HUD UIs several times and knowing the complexity of an avatar UI, I can understand the decision. But still, meh.
I've used Legacy for quite a while now. Love the look, utterly despise the hud and rendering cost. I really need to give Ebody Reborn another try.
I think the TMP guys IIRC disabled a bunch of huds leaving users in a lurch from that. They have a really nifty history of early 00s style asshole DRM.
How about Maitreya Lara? That was also pretty well supported for cyber and fetishwear followed by that Ebody.
Lara is the every-body. For a long time it’s been the body to wear. Not quite so true today but probably still top of the heap.
Maitreya is still the most supported body (and still the most worn female body by a large margin), though some are moving away from it. you WILL be able to find things to wear with Mait, but there may be some things you want to wear that are legacy only (if you want cyber fetishwear, R2 only does one body each release. it used to be Maitreya,
around the beginning of the year-ish, switched to Legacy)
support's been unfortunately slowly moving away from Belleza for a long time, but Mait is still very strong. eBody is a new contender, but it's mostly filling the Belleza/Inthium niche which keeps changing (so far, people keep adopting a new "curvy" body every so often, so support is a moving target)
Ok so Hex has some serious salsa on his face! Turns out, his girlsuit's gargoyle/fursuit loadout was already using Maitreya Lara not Belleza like her normal avatar, probably because it's so well supported??? He's not sure what he was thinking 3 years ago when he was building these looks.
it kinda gets to how much you want a particular outfit and what bodies it uses! maitreya is the easiest to find the most for, i've mostly switched to it (anything new/form fitting) as support dropped off for my body of choice. but if you fall in love with something (or a brand) that does support for other bodies, it's what you have to get to use that
It was surprisingly easy to switch just now TBH and now she has even more impressive thighs.
