1. Bricks radiates a lot of enthusiasm, which Zapper is a big fan of. She always likes it when people are unironically passionate and that can be about literally whatever as far as she's concerned, but it does help that his interest is unfamiliar to her yet relevant to her own (and he is definitely invited to her arcade once it exists)

so yeah there is some dovetailing there
