But anyway, welcome all! My name is Meilin, formerly Usami

For those who are new, I changed handles just a few months ago, so the old name might still be floating around somewhere. Just a heads up so people don't get confused if you see both

I am a cis female (she/her), and consider myself aegosexual/male-leaning biromantic

I'm Filipina-American, Roman Catholic, and graduated with a BA in Psychology and a Minor in Family Studies

I'm currently between jobs, but am enrolled in the program to become a pharmacy tech

As far as RPing these days go, I try to rotate between tags for one set of characters one day, and the next day do the other set. Each set basically splits the characters that are in the same games, that way I'm still doing each game each time without being too overwhelmed by having to do all of them

Usually the goal is to alternate sets every other day, and then take a break on Sunday, but....life happens, so I don't always get to tags everyday

But I try to tag with characters in games at least twice a week. But I know that's a bit slow-going, so I apologize in advance if threads get held up a bit

Aside from RPing, other hobbies include: reading (I tend to lean a lot more towards fanfics these days, but my goal for this year is to read more books); writing fanfics (or at least trying to write them), playing video games, listening to music, watching a variety of things (movies, some TV shows, anime, YouTube)+

Learning to knit, making icons sometimes, trying to cook sometimes, and going on food adventures

I tend to be a little shy and awkward around people, especially when I'm first getting to know them, and can have hard time with conversation, especially with expressing certain things. I lurk around people's plurks, and at best I'm good for giving virtual hugs

One of my goals this year is to try to be more open about myself, though, and to be better about saying what's on my mind. But if I say or do something wrong, please please please let me know. I really don't mean to hurt anyone

That said, I apologize in advance if I'm weird or anything, heh

Random fact about me: I have three siblings; an older sister (Older Sis), and younger sister (Sis), and a younger brother (Bro). Sis also has a husband (Bro-IL), and they have a son (Nephew)
