ooh yuck. Maybe just have your laptop serve as your TV in the meantime? I've gotten used to watching most DVDs on mine for instance -

maybe plow through your favorite DVDs which will all still look good? How long til you have DTV again?

oh yes - i have the Roku. But I watch A LOT of TV shows.

online quality for nbc.com etc is that bad? Bummer to know. We're considering streaming to our HD TV; only on computer now.

stuff served up by HULU is generally good quality - boxee is still working their stuff out too many bugs but I do like the features
