I think separating trainers from their partner Pokemon especially would make for a darker/more distressing thread! (Which, yeah, setting/scenario definitely caters to that, aha.)

hmmm. re: pokemon The Caretakers would probably take the pokemon if they were also injured? (I can see the Caretakers going and finding replacements pokemon if they realized the absence was having a negative effect on mental state later but yeah. they'd probably only take the injured initially)

yeah, they'd have a day night cycle! the Caretakers are trying to make things as real and natural as they can! Their information just may not be as... up to date and/or correct at all as they think it is

he can shrink down to human size if needed!! but it's more likely he's found in his current form especially if he's taken from his space travels 😌

yeah, they can accommodate all sizes! (the Caretakers themselves would come in all sizes some may or may not be eldritch horrors)

he WAS buried but that would be months ago from the point he got 'rescued'

the girls that turned him left him in the woods and then he woke up and started having misadventures

then I'm going to say that counts for seeing the cat man! (one of the ways to do it is spending a night on a grave. I'm counting in a grave as close enough)

GOOD, that is exactly canon. I'm glad to convey it, he is SUCH a precious child, but he got roped into a life of crime by Yota. ^^;; He absolutely adores his sworn brother, too, even if Yota has... very bad temper.

They're Team Rocket trio level nuisances, easily defeated by children, but they also have good hearts deep down and even mean Yota has a HUGE soft spot for orphans and is more naive/sympathetic to kids than Guta is, ffff.

Thais will teach him everything he knows! This... may not be very much that is, well, an employable skill in the modern world, but by damn, Thais will teach hunting, and cooking that food, and making mending clothes, and growing crops with a mule-drawn plow. and sneaking past watches/enemy lines/foiling tracking dogs and how to navigate by stars and trees

Thais stole some of his dad's clothes and ran away to join the army at 16, and then got kidnapped by the Fae to fight an eternal war less than a year later. ...and is now physically about in his early forties. so yeah. most of his skills are war related, sadly

Hunting! Foiling tracking dogs! He can employ that against the boxer and bulldog police officers, no, but seriously, Guta and Yota STINK at hunting like ordinary cats, so!

Guta already knows how to shoot! He can show ofd knife tricks. ;3;

IT'S OKAY (even if it's rather depressing), this'll just give 'em more to bond over! Guta only arrived pretty recently to Palm Town by ship, set out on his own, I think two years prior, so he was probably like. Six??? Seven??? When he got tangled up with Yota.
