Hello world! Had my cataract surgery 2 days ago. Not going to lie: I found it an ordeal, I was so scared and totally cramped....but to be honest, I never felt anything, no pain..nothing. The procedure took 25 mins.
Yesterday, the next morning, I could remove the protective cap (have to wear that at night for 2 weeks now) and ...wow...super clear vision and the best : the colours are back! Cataract makes colours fade away, mainly green and blue apparently turn slowly into some vague greyish. I had no idea how bad my vision was. So Ive cried a lot.
Still no pain, though it feels like I got punched and have a black eye, while it looks normal. In 6 weeks I can go for new reading glasses, will still need those, but that's ok. It's amazing to look around and see everthing sharp and..colourful
