i just came here to check if plurk was all just a fever dream of my teenage years but no it's still here

sadly it is real im 30 now and havent woken up

BUT IM GOOD I HOPE U ARE GOOD AS WELL

i look in the mirror and definitely do not see a 23 year old..... tbh i feel like i stopped mentally aging when covid happened

i'm ok... questionably i moved to chicago in april and want to move back in w my parents in NJ

but i love my job too much.....

omg look at you, a whole twentysomething

god though that's too real, I feel like I just lost entire years of my life in that time

I want a do-over on two years of my aging

not that it makes as much difference for me, an ancient lady in her 30s

not to trauma dump but lately ive been obsessing over my ex who i broke up w when covid first started and i think it has something to do w the fact that covid stunted my growth and in fact made me regress !

i feel you on covid making you feel stalled, but it's tough when like. sometimes the larger circumstances are out of your control

so don't be too hard on yourself

I do think that's a thing we've all been feeling, yeah... I still barely leave my house even though life is basically back to normal-ish

danni!!!! yes i agree! but i honestly think i just have so much resentment for the world now that i feel as though i've been robbed of what were supposed to be formative years of my life

i also dont leave the house and im not sure if its covid related but yea lets blame it on that actually

we've literally all been traumatized lmfao it's def not your fault

seriously... one of my coworkers is like, a fresh high school grad just going into college and I feel so bad that her last few years of high school were the way they were

you guys are right :') and i'm just glad i'm not alone in these feelings, even tho it sucks for all of yall too but hey we can all agree that the last like 3ish years have been str8 booty

i will never not complain abt the fact that i went to community college for 2 years just waiting for my uni experience and then when i got there covid happened immediately and i was online the entire rest of my college career

we're gonna be processing all of this for a very long time so be gentle w yourself and do your best 💕

my job is the universe's reparations toward me i think, it really is great! i do research on a microorganism that can produce ethylene from carbon emissions!!!
