[Writing] Effectively wrote myself into a corner with an ongoing fic...
latest #9
It's one of those "This would be a good cliffhanger" moments and now I'm not entirely sure where to take it.
I've been using writing a lot lately to distract from the dumpster fire that is... well, everything else.
I've got a short story or two that I'm working on, but I want to give them more time to percolate.
Going back to fanfic is nice, but... ugh, I'm so utterly confused as to how to write myself out of this problem.
Basically I introduced a character from the series who is one of the major villains, but he's been trapped in isolation.
There's some plot business I'm using him to disclose and I know I want to use him later, BUT...
I've got a hard time believing the main character would just leave this guy trapped in ice, no matter how evil he is.
And I don't think I want to do any kind of redemption arc for him.
