If you're already about to go to Lou Malnati's, the only thing I've had so far is just cheese deep dish, so I might not be the best recommendation-giver. But omgwtfbarb is a local, so listen to her. Also AlannaRobbiani and Deadrella!

I’m only a pizza snob when it comes in a box. I like Lou’s. Did you end up going there? And did you like it? That area is very touristy so it’s hard to recommended anything “local”. Will you be here tomorrow?

My fave eats is Broken English Taco Pub...but it’s loud as hell in there

People - myself included - bag on Cheesecake Factory, but damn if everyone who comes to visit me doesn't want to go there. It does have something for everyone. If you want to avoid that because it's a bit too touristy, try their sister restaurant down the street -Grand Lux Cafe

AlannaRobbiani, that's odd. Are they people who don't have a Cheesecake Factory in their own cities? It is a good chain, but we have one here, and I can't imagine prioritizing it if we went somewhere else.

LettePonnier: No, that's the point. They don't have one so they want to eat at it here. There are several in the suburbs, but none in the rest of the state, as far as I know.

While I have been to the Cheesecake Factory before, roomie's brother did take us to Grand Lux. Beware, the meals are enough for two.

Also, Maple and Ash had the best Caesar salad ever.
