I got a doctor at around 1 am and he did absolutely fucking nothing LOL asked me how I was feeling and if I wanted to go home, then sent me home. No tests or anything

Update: I got a ride from a friend of my late father's and I am now home. The doctor determined that I do have a concussion but no permanent brain damage on the CT, and I have at last been given some leave to rest! Pharmacy was closed though so I'll have to get my meds later.

I realize I skipped the entire part of the story where I got to the ER in the first place lol That chapter was being covered on Facebook where I was trying to get my local homeowner's group to assist me

the other hospital was WAY better, took much less time to see me and they actually did their jobs. So I guess it can just be Kaiser that's the joke this week lol

I was trying to give them the paperwork my work wanted the doctor to fill out but they just wrote their own doc's note and told me to send that form to some other place I have looked at 20 times now and still can't remember but in my defense I have a concussion lol

I did talk to a nurse today who thinks I should file a grievance against him. But the insurance person I talked to took his side and said that since I apparently said I was mostly fine, they wouldn't propose CT because there are potential risks

to be fair.... I think the main reason I was able to get so much is because it was additional symptoms cropping up. So I'm not super mad about it anymore since it all worked out. He requested an entire week off for me

But it was still pretty fuckin ridiculous lol

As fine as I can be now. I just got home with my prescription for nausea meds. Here's hoping they help the tinnitus. I'm at a bit of a loss for how to spend my time though. I'm supposed to limit screentime but that's like. All I do. LOL So I'm going to have to develop a strategy soon I guess

Pft. I called the advice nurse at my usual doctor's office to ask her more specifics on what I could do or not with the concussion, and she basically told me I can do whatever unless it's making my headache and other symptoms worse. So I guess I won't worry about it so much
