you do get support points for healing an ally so its one way to get an extra point if nothing else

i think you can also order the AI to heal another ally if you dont want to actually play the healer yourself

Healing was crazy useful in the last Femblem Warriors because I cannot tell you how often mission-critical NPCs will eat shit if you are not physically there to protect them

And if you focus on your face/primary characters for levels and everyone else is way under leveled for the missions you're doing, you can't necessarily just swap control to a nearby ally when an NPC is in trouble

You may have to run a strong ally all the way across the gd map

While the NPC is being ground under a powerful enemy's boot

Got another training point with clearing phlegethon territory and got Claude & Lor up to C...... BUT IT'S CHAPTER LOCKED

But healers can just be stationed to guard important NPCs and will KEEP THEM ALIVE

God tho Callie I can see that being an issue already

you can pay to level up underlevelled units at the trainer in this game at least

and yeah claude and lor being storylocked is very rude haha

paying to level some folks doesn't get them stars for class mastery or level their abilities tho only base stats
