since I had a lot of crunching this week and collapsed in actual exhaustion yesterday, I'm gonna just smash all my monthly plotting + current events + wishes in here, so bear with me and as always just tap my sleeve anytime for questions or planning

and whew now that the world's most massive photoshop file is saved and I've wrapped up side work for tonight
current event-wise Astarion's still on literal cloud 9 overall, he's living his— okay, almost perfectly best life, because let's be real, Thedas is never anything less than a mess and a whe lot of problems are looming large af in the background
but for right now, right where he is, in his immediate vicinity
(1) local touch-starved, violently mistrustful stray is actively drowning in overwhelming affection and cutting his teeth on the notion that there really is— tucked away in small, hidden spaces— an immense amount more to life and romance and friendship + companionship than what he'd seen in Cazador's care
and it's good??? it's good, tho
but aside from that, any and all doe-eyed bliss is 100% guaranteed to detonate the second anyone brings up Wysteria and Richard's research, or Wysteria and/or Richard, or lyrium experimentation (and possibly just lyrium, at this point)
he's not letting this go in the slightest
and he's also back to wearing leather gloves 24/7 in public, even if it's an indoor space (especially, if it's indoors, since close proximity means someone else would be more likely to notice his anchor shard)
and he's actively studying Tevene and Qunlat in an effort to 1: be very cool and sexy and hot, feel free to praise him at ur leisure but 2: have a solid means of feigning being a native in any capacity if things get worse
which, you know.....they kind of are
AND SO speaking of that, things I do definitely want in the future or at some point, etc because I'm aiming to start weaving in little snippets of current Kirkwall Vibes by which I mean
right now I think the number of fights actively breaking out are somewhat putting him off his usual thieving hunts in full; he used to go out and spend entire nights plucking up coin or snatching finery or even bounty hunting, and it's definitely starting to just
taper
and part of that is for sure that he's a dumbstruck idiot (gestures at Astarion outright staring at the MC at all hours with stars in his stupid eyes) when he's happy, but also yeah, that sixth sense itch is rearing its head
i love him
but yeah, it's one thing to deal with the occasional insult or jeer or alleyway ambush, but it's another when the temperature in summer is starting to run frigid and boy howdy
he does not dig the way the locals are staring at everyone lately
everyone in Kirkwall just
so for now small rp hopes re: that tension are maybe buddy system thieving, where he'd naturally feel better with someone else around, too? or maybe some passing vent sessions about how hostile things are staring to feel overall
a little nightmare venting could be fun too, but he's pretty private about those if he can help it sans like, you know, Fenris and Ellie (and anyone that was there during crossroads)
and I wrote about a lot of his inherent dread already during crossroads plot, so in this case I'm eyeing the idea of threads that veer more into proactivity overall: sharing some elfroot stores or trading resting techniques, etc etc
and whew I'm melting so I'll probably come back to this later to brainstorm a bit but these are definitely the big key points
still catching up on old threads, so perpetual appreciation lives here while I dog paddle slowly through my inbox at a snail's pace but like
a happy snail's pace bc they're fun and I've missed them

god i know we have ten billion threads planned but very firm qunlat/tevene lessons (as opposed to them just using it as an excuse to flirt b/c they're useless) would be a fun thing to do
