She, unprompted, told me she has a trans sibling who she consistently misgendered and told me "if you're born a girl I'm going to call you a girl because that's just what I believe"

On a more work related end; she has the memory of a gnat and can barely operate a computer.

She is dyslexic (so am I so...sympathy) and cannot spell, so her communication over the computer is not super great.

She says she recently went blind in one eye, has undiagnosed celiac disease, and has an undiagnosed learning disability but can't treat any of it because of a lack of insurance.

In brighter work news: They are starting a Gender Health Clinic to coordinate care for our transgender patients and I get to help with it.
I'm sorry you have to contend with that new employee, but that's seriously awesome about the clinic! That's wonderful news
