Look at us sad little DA nerds, scrambling from crumbs like this
Give me a release date, Bioware
Ten years we've been rusting, needing exercise, a chance to use our skills
Could’ve thrown out a remastered Origins to keep us entertained in the meantime
Only sci fi franchises get that sort of thing
This right here is why the mages rebelled
They need attention and exercise, otherwise they blow things up
Every fantasy world needs someone to be gloriously self-destructive
Or more than one someone, apparently
The title's a bit more on the nose than I think I was expecting, to be honest, but then I go back to 'Inquisition' and think 'why did I expect anything less obvious'
Dragon Age 2. That’s it, that’s the title
I don’t care if the title is obvious, but it does make the tease a little flat. “The title is..........exactly what you would have guessed!”
The two does have the benefit of telling you absolutely nothing about what you're getting into
Possibly I assumed Solas would be handled like they did the Mage-Templar war in Inquisition, with it being a theme but not the theme.
And then a big diversion into Those Guys From The East or Whatever The Hell Is Going On With The Qunari. But I guess they're tackling it head-on
I’m curious how that’ll play with the protag and one’s previous inquisitor. I mean, my inquisitor is very invested in personally smacking Solas
Well, the handling of Hawke and blood magic- and Hawke and Anders, I was deeply irritated that some of my Hawkes couldn't be more behind the blowing up the church bit- doesn't suggest the old protagonist is going to get a lot of nuance
Good point...which, I get, it would be impossible to get a lot of nuance, but still
What if we wanted to be evil, BioWare, you let us be evil in kotot, you're chickening out
I’m still sad they missed the opportunity to have Freedoms Call as random loot in the Hinterlands during the mage war
