This place I am currently living in is going to be a problem because I have Snooki. Snooki is my Emotional Support Animal and I have a letter for her stating such. The LAW states that a person with an ESA or Service Animal can not be refused housing based on a no pet policy. ESAs and Service Animals are not pets.
Still, I am being told there is not to be any dogs in the house. Apparently, these people believe they can go against what the LAW states. I have done plenty of research on this looking at the various laws that affect this in California. A person who has an ESA or Service Animal can NOT be refused housing because they have the animal.
I do NOT want to argue or fight with these people over this but I WILL defend my rights according to the law when I know I am right. This is already starting to add to my stress and anxiety.
