I made the mistake of making a Cleridan and since the Paladin and Cleric lists are practically the same there's a lot of spells I have to decide which modifier to use on the fly? which isn't too much of a problem right now but I'm in the process of leveling to 8 and hooboy

if you have physical character sheets, get a second spell list one and use that one to track one of the classes prepared/learned spells! on Roll20 i arrange it so that known spells are at the top and the prepared spell lists go underneath

you can make a 'blank' spell to separate the two classes if you need to there, as well

my suggestion, personally, would be to take as many spells as don't directly rely on stats on Paladin as possible, so that you have a minimal amount of stat juggling to do
Yeah using a blank to separate is what I've been doing so far
