how did you get into your first YGO series?

UHM so it was probably early high school...maybe late middle school? my little cousin and I were watching WB cartoons together and saw Yu-Gi-Oh!

I super fell in love with the series then and Yugi was my favorite, while my little cousin like mokuba

we got into the cards and played the game until I graduated high school; that's when I got a friend group that thought it was fun to make fun of ygo fans so I decided to not say I liked ygo

years later my then gf was going through a rough time so I told her we could watch a ygo to cheer her up since she liked it s ok much. she picked zexal because she knew I'd love Yuma and that's pretty much it! I eventually broke up with that gf and Skyler and I started dating and well....thats it!

I still have a picture my little cousin drew me that says "duel together always"
