Using dictation right now because my wrists hate me once again, but nothing is as good as the stupid ass software that has a monopoly on the entire speech recognition business

lots of software can do simple dictation, but almost nothing can navigate/control the operating system. And of course just because something can dictate doesn't mean it can dictate well, or that you can put in custom words like a bunch of fantasy character names,

or that you can backup and restore your carefully constructed settings, which by the way you can't do in the built in windows speech recognition which really sucks for disabled users

nope if you can't pay $300 to $500 for the stupid monopoly software, you're just fucked

And like I said I actually did buy a 100% completely legal license directly from the publisher of the software once, and I am still 100% absolutely astonished that apparently

You're just expected to buy the fucking thing twice if you switch computers

actually the most astonishing part to me is you seriously can't backup your settings for WSR, not even locally let alone cloud
