I took the time to try and make it a teaching moment. Basically "Hey, full props to the soldiers, but this backlash is because the military causes a lot of damage that they generally don't admit to or know how to properly treat

He messaged me privately....turns out he's 23, willing to listen, but barely older than the people he's recruiting.

He was a marine band musician. Everything about his experience was positive. He's never known anything else since 17

Now I'm just sitting here going "Oh, you sweet summer child" and wondering how far I can push this teachable moment
