My aunt on the farm who practically raised me just passed away from covid in the hospital. On Christmas day..her 62nd birthday is on the 27th December..she's had covid for 2 weeks now and I thought she'd be home in time for her birthday because she's been doing so much better. My sister is also leaving on the 29th to study and eventually get a job in Canada.
Don't know if I'll be around for a while here anymore..not that I have been for a while, but just putting it out there anyway that I'm taking time to deal...

thanks everyone. It doesn't even feel real yet because I'm compartmentalizing without even trying to. Waiting & dreading the depression I know is coming though..really thought not having my sister around would be the hardest thing I'd have to deal with this year.
