that's been the case for most of the shows so far yeah. you cna't really tell how good or bad the writing or characterization is until you see the whole thing

well aside from Loki. Wandavision took a little to really get going, and TFATWS started off good and just kinda ran downhill from there

i think it was immediately obvious that Loki was gonna be great so long as they stayed the course, but yeah, full agree on the others

part of it is I know some of the comics background in that Kate's dad in the comics was working with the mafia and it's pretty likely the mom is the stand-in now. and it'd be too EASY

but in one of the reviews I watched turns out the step-dad is the "anti-hero" Swordsman from the comics? the name and skills are the same anyhow. so not sure if it's a real fake-out or a fake fake-out or... what
