i continue to give Strange some very doubtful (and cranky) looks

if all these dudes have to die in battle with Spidey bc that's how they went before, then why is Marko Flint there? he walked. didn't he? i mean, it was pretty ambiguous, i suppose, i feel like it takes a bit more to kill Sandman than merely dispersing into the wind, but fine. fine

unless ofc he showed up in the Amazing movies, which I have not seen and i guess will have to watch within the next month anyway

but fine. they're all dead, everyone's dead, Strange insists Peter's gotta rekill 'em and Peter understandably has a few objections to that

OH ALSO pretty sure Raimiverse Venom is in there too, which is both very funny bc Venom being jammed into that movie was A Mistake which Raimi resented the shit out of, and also very interesting given in the midcredits sequence in Let There be Carnage!

so that's all the stuff i'm gonna be staring at the ceiling about for the next month

the lighter more fun stuff:

MJ sweetly calling Strange out on his weird insistence that this whole mess is 100% Peter's fault and Peter's fault only (something is going on with Strange, this all rings really weird to me, I'm not counting Quentin Beck out just yet), thus reminding me how much i love her

the kids all giggling incredulously when Doc Ock identifies himself as Otto Octavius, with Peter all "no but what's your real name," which, has anyone told him about Strange's name yet or does he still think that's a superhero moniker?

i am rabid for this movie, how i am supposed to sleep tonight i am sure i don't know

But yeah something is definitely up with Strange, but I'm willing to concede it could just be because he's an asshole

i mean that is for sure a factor, plus we know he's willing to push other people to extremes when he knows it's the only way to get the job done, but it just doesn't feel right

/finally actually watches the trailer, makes an annoyed face at Strange in every damn scene he's in, squeals a lot at Doc Ock

I am literally only interested in Doc Ock, Green Goblin, and MJ :|

i'm just happy you're going to see it so i won't have to explain myself when i shout things at you about it XD
