i'm used to my employers playing big brother, man, i worked retail
the idea that my current employer cares about whether i feel . . . idk . . . like i have a modicum of privacy as i work . . . ? is mindblowing to me
did i assume i was being monitored? yes. did i care? nah, any feelings about that got burned out of me years ago
is this. normal? the not looking over employees' shoulders every second thing?
depends on the office tbh. some offices DO kind of monitor you, particularly your computer time. not all though, and mostly the bigger companies
i was told in training that computer use is monitored, but since anything frivolous is blocked anyway, idk the point
