A friend of mine went in hospital for a by pass surgery but a blood clot dislodged and he has had a stroke. They said his speech and right side will be affected but he is still sedated so its unknown how bad it is. Not a good news day.. 😕
Makes my stomach issues seem insignificant.. I have to go next week for cataract surgery but that's pretty minor.
Wow. I hope he is doing better. Hopefully it was caught in time to at least lessen the effects.
And I hope your cataract surgery goes well. We were thinking about getting my Dad's other eye done. But his primary care physician was a little concerned enough to change our minds. He had one eye done 10 years ago I think. He's turning 95 and not driving. Instead we just got him a new eyeglass prescription so he can see/read better out of his good eye.
At 95 that's probably the best decision. My only problem with the eye surgery is having to put 3 different drops in the eye 4 times a day for weeks..
