so all of a sudden, my mum's in pain and eventually went to the hospital to get scans (CT and MRI) and found "multiple growths" in her brain, neck, spine, ribcage...?

... well then.

Guess I should book for a scan myself. We do have a family history so it shouldn't be a huge surprise.
