This is a weird question, but I figure there’s cat shows, dog shows, chicken shows, pigeon shows... there’s gotta be like- snake shows? Like breeding competitions basically

i'm sad that it doesn't look like there really is... there's more like... hunting shows which is not what i want

i want a dude looking at a fancy snake in its enclosure nodding and making checkmarks about health and stuff

i thought i found one and then when i looked further it was about catching/killing them in competition : (((((((

or only finding "beauty queen kills and skins rattlesnakes as a hobby" noooo though rattlesnakes are assholes

right??? like there is clearly a gigantic market for morphs and snake-y pets so idk why they don't other than maybe concern about overbreeding but lbr that's sadly happening anyway most likely

but they do try to breed them responsibly so the snakes don't die/so they're nice and healthy

yeah! my only guess is hotels/convention centers say no to mass amounts of snakes whether they're venomous or not lol
