i pretty much had to take a long cold bath - of which "cold" was barely some degrees shy of lukewarm - to try and beat the heat. our apts are equipped with swamp coolers which basically fail at their One Job

contacted maintenance about the darn thing feeling like it was blowing warm air. their response was 'well when its hot out, the water the cooler uses heats up too'

why do swamp coolers even exist.
