I'm currently making a bigger effort to send my very ADHD anti-neurotypical ten year old more positive messages.

not that they are dumb or acting dumb but asking a lot of questions

what is their motivation/feelings for this action

also to set time limitations and very very specific directions

both of us have agreed they need and deserve better.
