My parents' 90 days post monoclonal antibody treatment is done and they got their first shots of the vaccine yesterday. Exciting!!

Oh, good!

Mom is experiencing some side effects now, but not too bad. I suspect shot #2 will be pretty gentle.

My art directer had her baby... it will be two weeks ago this Monday?

He is very cute, and they FINALLY decided on a name for him after he was born. Which I am glad about because it was right under the wire.

Which means this is the end of my second week as defacto art director. We've gotten everything we absolutely need to done.

So I am celebrating by having tequila while the cat naps beside me.

UM. What else. Oh! My youngest niece had ear tubes put in this morning. It was quick and went well! Hopefully the ear infections will leave her alone now.

(She gets it honest. I had trouble with ear infections at her age, too.)

ahhh, all good updates! I hope being interim boss was good, though!!

It is... stressful! But I feel kinda proud about it, too?

Nothing bad has happened yet and I enjoy the actual "help my fellow designers with critique" bit, so! So far so good.

Getting close to the whole immediate fam being vaccinated. (My parents are only left because they had to wait. Sister and brother-in-law and both grandfathers have been vaccinated for a bit and it's almost 2 weeks since my second shot.) Feels good!
