i was minding my own business when i saw i had a b+ in the class when i was high a's up until that point and then A 45??????

this is the second time she's given me feedback and the other time was "i don't like that you wrote your short story in second person"

what is intro to creative writing then if not to write creatively???????

this is like. part of my final. i'm not going to rework it too much because i'm confident that it is, at the very least, decent.

I think it’s better than decent, and I was intrigued before I even puzzled out what you were up to.

I feel like if this is your final maybe your teacher should have laid out clearer stylistic expectations sooner than this.

Like, to find out NOW this is what she expected is a failure of communication on her part

i'm so frustrated with this whole class. i really don't need an intro to creative writing but i was like. whatever. a class for my major.

every time i turn something in, i'm left hanging, and i see all my other classmates getting feedback on work that, for me, doesn't resonate. whatever it's a class we're not submitting our magnum opus but GOD

i'm not the best writer in the world, i am not saying that, but i know that i am GOOD and a 45 is honestly insulting

it's because creative writing is not about creativity really otherwise they wouldn't have as many goddamn rules as they do
