the usual yuusei-harald-fakejack dilemma

robojack as a horrible murder feline sounds vastly entertaining honestly

god it sure does

medcat harald is also extremely compelling to me

it's not often i get to comfortably play fakejack though so maybe i'll do it

two of the folks in the discord server were players in lost carnival so i'm not sure i feel confident enough to bring yuusei back...

i also have a whole swath of ocs to consider as well

update: i'm very bad at drawing cats

but i wanted to give it a shot to see if i could visualise anyone better or worse in the role

i think edcat is very good. he looks fluffy like a cloud.

fakejack is a little scrawny bastard. real edgelord-looking. my main hangup about playing him is i'm not sure how much i wanna lean into an antagonistic role.

i suppose i should clarify i'm not trying to drag you into the game

after some deliberation i think i've narrowed my picks down to harald and daichi

harald's pros:
- i miss playing him
- a shorter game would be perfect for him bc i run out of steam with him kind of often
- medcat harald is just So Good. religious man becomes religious cat? mwah

cons:
- i don't know how short "short" is here and his character appeal might run out fast anyway
- daichi would also hopefully be a medcat

daichi's pros:
- i also miss playing daichi
- he encompasses the kind of minor antagonist i wouldn't mind playing. he's well-intentioned but employs questionable and sometimes secretive methods. ultimately means little harm.
- creepy doctor aesthetic Good even in cat form

cons:
- i worry his role might end up more directly antagonistic than i would like
- shares hypothetical medcat status w harald
- the DID thing
