We can pretty easily spot religious / Christian folks who host shows on Netflix. Today’s snipe- Dream Home Makeover. Less than a minute in I said... Mormons.

But sometimes I wonder: Which are really Christians and which are cynically aimed at a Christian audience?

I need to know more about this - what gave it away within 1 minute?

For me it is horrible faux cursing. "Shizz is going down!"

The interior design is super uninspired which has nothing to do with being super religious but does really bum me out nonetheless.

I mean, the rooms look very nice, but just very vanilla. They look like a million other staged rooms with little personality. Nothing new or surprising. Just run of the mill renovations. I'm sure the clients are pleased regardless.

Utah, perfect photos of 4 children, lots of family values talk.

Sehra: haha, it's all good. I think I get stuck at the "this is a low-budget remodel, $30,000". I just can't relate.

I’m back. White 30 something couple serving another white couple with 4 kids living in Utah. Mormon fest. From what I read even LDS (latter day Saint) members kind of call out the show. One commentator even called in Mormon propaganda.

Also. The Floor Is Lava is clearly a show produced by Christians. Too many vague biblical jokes and pastors making appearances.

Sehra: I’d love to hear your thoughts. Totally not invested in the show, not really in design, but I like thoughts.
Also. That husband, yikes. Not sure if I feel bad for him or mad at him.
