I assume you read Peace Talks as well?

I'm pretty sure I have, though there were some gaps in my memory of events, some "wait...what?" moments early in this book. Am a big fan of the series. I'm pretty sure I've read them all, some of them more than once. Seems, it's been at least 5 years waiting for this one...

I think parts of Battle Ground would make more sense after Peace Talks. Honestly, I think they make more sense as volumes 1 & 2 of a single book.
