So many of my US friends are genuinely scared right now. One, who has been watching right wing extremist groups like The Proud Boys for a long time, thinks that this could end in civil war. However, he also thinks that ine ray of hope is that all these groups believe that they are the only true patriots and probably won't work with the other groups.

It is very scary right now. Trump and his enablers are ignoring democratic processes for their own gains and interests.
