This will probably be a longterm thing, though maybe I’ll speed up to get Skadi mats, because I’m trying the challenge of “GSSR Okita Alter on all non-knights memorial quests, lucky pull Skadi on all knights quests” and Salter is super mean to casters.
Anyway, I’m sorry, dramatic survival man. I was already struggling to take things seriously when aliens flattened the entire world and three months later humanity is nearly extinct, because it was too big to not get read as bizarre in my head, but when we cut to that one military base that shows up in every alien conspiracy theory, I begin to laugh instead.
oh my god, it was SO goofy though
FGO rarely sells me on the framing stories, because I mostly find them ridiculous, anyway. I just really enjoy the conceit of “self-insert hanging out with cool history people who protect self-insert like they’re valuable,” because I rarely experience shame over things I privately enjoy.
It’s INCREDIBLY GOOFY I’m just waiting to be riding around in a snow-treaded machine while a tiny da Vinci-chan psychically drives around for I guess three months?
I didn’t say the parts I enjoy are any LESS goofy.
listen the important thing about LB1 is the handsome angry wolf boyfriend that grumbles a lot
yeah that's very important.
why does lb1 exist? hold the patxi. pat the patxi. forfeit all mortal possessions to the patxi
I’m told that there are good doggos.
nothing matters but patxi
Sure hope I’m not expected to remember and tell apart the members of the council of Fuck You My Timeline Now, because I did not go back over the info from New Years and would likely not be able to keep it in line in my head for more than five minutes.
you only have to remember one at a time tbh
If I see the patsy, though, I’ll keep track of him so the furry borg in here doesn’t consume me.
i think it's pronounced patkhi and i have no idea why they romanized it with an x instead of a kh
Also a note: the wolf thing was fine, but it did remind me to say please no spoilers.
“It has been ninety days...three full months since the Tree of Emptiness took root.” I’ve got some unfortunate and highly pedantic news for you, longhair McGee, about the length of most months.
Okay so number two is clearly a hemomancer.
hemomancers... or vampires? hmmm
Oh, Ophelia I know! There was a brief burst of shippy art between her and Mash, I think??
And yes I actually mean vampire.
Number four...is he really called Daybit? Who does the night bit? Also he looks like a prick.
“He looks like a prick,” says I, and then I read that his first line is enjoying methodical killing. And the vampire talks about enjoying stealing and killing.
your instincts are very good!
Ophelia what are you doing here unless you start displaying a clear big vice. All I’m getting right now is liking structure, which I GUESS could become a bad thing if extended further.
Someone get number five a sandwich stat. And then sit on him until he gets some sleep.
matlocked skadi high five...
Number six is the token gay antagonist, I think, and I’m realizing that at 6/7 we’re at one woman and I sigh.
Though like. If they tried to make a woman villain of the exaggerated type of Daybit and Nightbit, I’m pretty sure Fate would fuck it up real bad.
opalinesque: Zero giant rings and I used all the ice on Okita Alter before I unexpectedly pulled Skadi.
I can see why Kadoc is the other name I recognize, because I feel bad for the dude already.
So we get woman number two in number seven and that means we have “serious woman who is getting foreshadowed to be cracking under pressure” and “my favourite character in Haruhi was Yuki Nagato.” My hopes are not super high in the character design.
LMAO I did enjoy the bit where Nightbit (I’m just calling the vampire that until I inevitably forget) notes that the contest is rigged because Longhair McGee is definitely going to win and McGee went “yeah, so?”
Oh right, we’re driving through the void for three months while all the events are flashbacks.
I admit, “Saint Graph and Round Circle” made me think of the spinny circle when we summon things, even though the redundancy of the second could tip off about the Round Table being what they meant.
Oh right, we did get attacked by a very specific set of historical Russian guards. (Anyway, the way Daybit says “simple logic” would have been a tip-off of prick even without the former clues of liking murder and also everything about how he chooses to dress,)
I half-expected Longhair McGee to also bzzzt out even though that would make no sense.
I took a glance back at the time they were all described and when it came to Nightbit: “who gives a shit” ~ da Vinci-chan, probably
So things are going well in Russia, it seems.
And things are going well on mobile Chaldea, too. Rations are running out. Our destination? A land where everyone is starving to death.
Quick (rhetorical) question: why should we care if Goredolf forbids us from going in anywhere?
.......Sherlock looked at the available space in this ship and went, yes, a supply of cocaine, please.
"don't worry, I've got cocaine" was one of the most troubling lines of early lb1
Goredolf: Th-that's impossible. The world couldn't possibly be destroyed so easily. It couldn't possibly...right? Y-you all agree, don't you?
The entire rest of the crew who spent over a year as the last surviving members of humanity during the first singularities: (did he not read the reports.....)
"I could keep going for a month on cocaine!" and this is the guy who is handling things while da Vinci is driving
GOREDOLF DON'T INSULT ME.
LMAO that silent eyebrow raise as da Vinci-chan lets Sherlock know that he can't hide anything from her on the Shadow Border.
I want a menu tab that is literally for exactly this. (I guess I can at least do it with big da Vinci-chan if I put her in favourite.)
Thank goodness that at least we're emerging in April instead of December to Snowland.
Anyway, unless something else comes up that would be most appropriate, I'm going to do as much of this Lostbelt with Ibaraki as possible because of
this fanart I saw way back.
On one hand, I get that things were especially cramped for the staff because they gave me a single room and traveling in Void Space isn't fun, but also given what was happening when we were last in reality, you'd expect mildly more caution when going out.
Hello, little da Vinci-chan! Good to see her out and about.
I seriously have no idea why we don't just lock Goredolf in the captain's room with a blanket and ignore him until we have things under control. Yes, there might be that investigation going on if humanity is restored, but it's not like Chaldea got a fair shake last time.
I appreciate that the big benefit of Gudako's experience is "those servants are so ridiculous they'd pop out here, too."
Thank goodness that Sherlock has become an expert Goredolf wrangler.
"It's cold" STARES AT MINISKIRT ON DA VINCI'S DESIGN
sherlock's new job is goredolf babysitter
He seems to enjoy it, though.
...Oh, this was a "survive three turns" battle. I had been trying to figure out how to best stretch out my limited resources with one Servant and then...guess I could have Lord Cameloted.
Ah, we've been saved by a doggo. (pauses for cheering from the crowd)
Despite playing this singularity, my first thought was: "LOBO?!"
(please imagine the beyonce meme, but with avenger of shinjuku instead)
LMAO Lobo but can talk would be a great alt.
(I’m not sure which one you mean, haha.)
Anyway, I paused mid-scene and return to my reaction of “don’t be rude, Goredorf,” which is a phrase I want magically placed so that the words are always overlaid over what he’s seeing. This time specifically when he’s being rude to Patsy.
(I know it’s pronounced Patkhi and I already do like him, so just to be clear I am not calling him Patsy to be insulting. I’m just inclined to amuse myself all the time and I say it with great fondness in my head.)
LMAO I FORGOT THAT SOMEHOW
Anyway there was the interlude of “Patsy’s a good fellow.”
...We’re going to Benjamin Franklin with a kite...OKAY I THINK WE’LL BE ABLE TO SUMMON FRAN.
There’s really nothing unusual with da Vinci-chan justifiably tooting her own horn, but after she asked to be reassured that she’s as good as the adult da Vinci-chan, I have to wonder if she’s making a particular effort to get her confidence back up on what is technically her first mission, despite memories of otherwise.
She seems to still be mostly at full confidence, but it might have dipped down to mortal levels of confidence and working her way back up to da Vinci levels of confidence.
Time to pump herself up!!
I justifiably criticize FGO writing a lot, but when it comes to intentionally funny absurdity, they do a pretty good job most of the time.
I feel bad for da Vinci. If we’d brought her along with us, she’d have like three kites made while we were still untangling twine.
Arts! And! Quick! Crafts!
Screw the fate of humanity, THIS is CRITICAL.
the most important of all
Mash’s art design speciality is the hero we need in these tough times! Unfortunately, she also idolizes Gudako.
I was already thinking we should have brought da Vinci along when Sherlock got vetoed, but she does run the ship and that’ll probably be useful even when it’s grounded.
Ivan the Terrible x Anastasia is not the cross-era ship I expected, but neither was Okita x Nobunaga and that one’s GREAT.
......Kotomine, I am both terrified you’re here and rolling my eyes that this version of you decided to start with an innuendo.
Hey. The city is just Moscow, right? Why do they call it Yaga Moscow? Did they used to call it Human Moscow in this timeline?
I’m not sure why it matters so much who saved the world and who didn’t when it literally came down to “who was in the Command Room and who wasn’t,” but okay Kadoc.
They’ll probably have more justification in the future.
Mash please we’re on a tight schedule let’s not get caught
I rag on Goredolf for what I feel are obvious reasons, but at least he’s less rude than Koyanskaya.
Mash, you’re my favourite.
Can I have an option to ask her what her other offer is? Ah, but Gudako is not always the most sensible.
Too bad there isn’t the option of “team up with the Crypters to fight Sir Scribbles” even though Koyanskaya is being very open about wanting us to all kill each other.
Frankly, while I fully support saving Patsy from trouble when it’s a foolish idea to do so, I didn’t find Koyanskaya talking down to us frustrating at all. We are currently in bad condition, so thanks for letting us off, ma’am. Talk to you later.
We escaped by knocking things down in their path......
Those vowels are stretching really hard as our geniuses try to cover over the idea that maybe they didn’t consider operational safety.
......I want another ticket.
avi's cool as hell okay
He killed a kid. (Yosie, your favourite Servants include Ibaraki, an oni who eats people; Elizabeth Báthory, most prolific recorded female serial killer in history; and Mordred, who threw a temper tantrum so big that it burned down an entire kingdom.) Yeah, but he killed a kid.
I may have some double standards in play.
Setting aside learning of future opinions on him when I get to actually find out about FGO’s Avicebron, he’s showing himself to be exactly the Servant we need between fixing the Shadow Border and powering the summoning circle so I can get my friends back.
i mean in fairness who isn't significantly better in fgo than they were in apocrypha, though
Avicebron: As I informed you, this simply allows for the summoning of a kind of shadow Servant for combat only, meaning that —
Me, placing a hand over his mouth: I said, I can get all my friends back.
Avicebron: I am wearing a full face mask, rendering your attempts to muffle my voice entirely futile.
Me: Don’t ruin this for me, Avicebron.
You have a strong point, but at this moment I have little to work on when it comes to him.
Ritsuka and Mash getting so excited over the idea of acting as secret agents is really cute....
Also I admit that Avicebron has proven himself to only be useful despite my Apocrypha-fueled reaction to seeing him.
I hope you enjoy Avicebron in this lostbelt! I also had a “Oh hell no” reaction to him, but found myself really enjoying how they continued his story. It’s neat!
So far, he’s just been a nice and helpful dude and has made zero attempts to kill me for golem parts.
When they said a human-like archer, I admit that Atalante Alter was not my first guess.
I guess she fits slightly better into furry land, as weird as it must look with the way she’s dressed that she can get away with as a Servant.
“Who should I bring along to fight alongside Avicebron in this battle where we prove our ability to fight mercifully without killing? I know! A rampaging oni and the literal goddess of the underworld! I’m so smart.” ~ My Gudako, apparently
As always, I finish these battles that end unexpectedly early with many things left in the tank. I decided to save Ibaraki’s NP for the second break bar. Maybe that’s why she went OKAY WE’RE GOOD
I also had Ereshkigal ready for a second NP with her mana burst at the ready.
fwiw, ophilia has a really fantastic character arc when she pops up, so i think you'll enjoy her!
“You ride bicorn? ...Do they happen to shed their horns? Can I have some if so?”
w/o spoilers, some of her scenes gave me some leslie vibes, so
Ooooh, I already thought I’d like her, despite grumbling about the archetypes’ divisions by gender, but that’s an extra good sign.
“People, including children, have died in this conflict.”
Atalante: LOUD SILENCE
So I learned two things from that fight:
1) Atalante Alter seems to be having a bad time during her NP.
2) I think they gave Ibaraki and single new skill line and nothing else.
Which...maybe they had the voice actor in doing someone else’s lines and went “hey can you say this in Ibaraki’s voice?”
Me, thinking: (thankfully, Goredolf hasn’t tried interrupting and being rude to Atalante and the rest of the rebels yet....)
“Oh, we’re out of comms range.”
Me: (fistpumps)
Patxi: “You look like you’re tilling a field.” (Something that I know is a thing even though they never talk about non-meat food in a snow-covered frozen land.)
Avicebron: “I would say it’s closer to pottery.” (Translation: sir, I am an artiste.)
Oh, that’s cute.
We finally get to see more than just dudes being dudes, freezing six feet apart. (Granted, I am going with the idea of the regular sprites being gender-ambiguous, but I know that's not what is the authorial intent.)
Avicebron: He's got an automaton for that.
Since da Vinci-chan is currently a kid, technically, we should have her do all the talking to Atalante. Or, you know, just do all the talking forever. I wouldn't mind.
Goredolf: I'M the one calling the shots around here, thank you! EVVERYTHING goes through ME first! You do not make decisions for yourself in the field! Understand!?
Me: No.
This village chief and I, probably:
"Let us have a friendly, nonlethal duel to determine your strength."
"Okay. (summons dinosaur skulls from the underworld)"
"I think you have mistaken what I was suggesting."
Avicebron is basically an entire support staff all on his own.
Goredolf: relays useful information
Me:
Goredolf? Being useful in MY shadow border?
LMAO. It’s more likely than I think, but 0.1% chance is more likely than I think at the moment.
da Vinci and Mash leave for a checkup, leaving me with Holmes and Goredolf. “NOOOOO DON’T LEAVE ME HERE WITH THEM TAKE ME WITH YOU.”
(I’m fond of Holmes, but he IS an asshole. Right now, Avicebron is my shining light of civility.)
Mash: I thought Galahad was gone, that he decided I wasn’t worthy....
Me: Nooo, Mash, don’t think like that! I’m sure he just —
LMAO I do love you, da Vinci-chan, no matter your form.
OH YEAH THOSE EXPERIMENTS WERE PRETTY AWFUL, WEREN’T THEY? I forgot the previous director was involved in that.
(“Previous director? So the one before Goredolf, which is —” No, I mean the one before Director Olga Marie Animusphere, my one true director of Chaldea.)
/stares at opening on a completely levelled planet Earth
/stares at the dying lostbelt we’re starting in
Are you sure about that, da Vinci?
I looked up Nikolai Gogol when he got mentioned and started to read the plot summary of his story, Viy, which was also mentioned. It included the following line:
“...they tell horror stories about her evil ways, such as previously riding on another person, drinking blood, and cutting off the braids of village girls...”
I feel like these evil ways vary significantly in seriousness.
viy is a good fucking short story i love that shit, to the point i was actually kind of disappointed in the fgo design until i saw the np in action
even then i wish it was significantly more fucked up
FGO tends to have some issues in doing visual horror.
The summary I read sounds pretty horrifying, even though it almost literally ends with curiosity killed the cat.
These two have a very strange relationship, but I kinda dig it.
OH BOY ONE OF THOSE CHOICES CHANGE THE BATTLE SCENARIOS. I actually do quite like them, even if A) I wish we could replay such things for other options and
due to trying to rush through Babylonia, I gave up on Hard Quetzalcoatl.
It was not, in fact, cool shades.
“As long as Ibaraki doesn’t die this turn — oh. Well, as long as Jalter doesn’t die this turn — oh.” Bad end for me. Ereshkigal nearly did it anyway without type advantage all by herself, though.
This time around, when the thought “I’ll win this as long as Jalter doesn’t die this round” came into my head, I used the level 1 Lostbelt Mystic Code “one time evade” on her so she did not.
Are you
really in a position to comment on that, Atalante Alter?
Ritsuka chatting about nothing in particular with Mash while drifting off to sleep is cute.
We were looking for Servants foolish enough to accept the call from this dangerous alternate world. It feels fitting that I’m playing it out with Ibaraki, Ereshkigal, and Jalter, with Hans and either Bunyan or Asterios to fill out the high-cost team.
The core seems like one that would indeed throw their lot in with a world on the verge of destruction, where might makes right.
To let you know that I’ve come around on Avicebron, I was given the choice to ONLY give credit to da Vinci in the Caster field, but I chose to say that both are awesome.
He seems to mould them more than fuck them. (I am, of course, kidding.)
I was gonna say it earlier but I feel like some of the thought process behind this singularly was “okay we did Avicebron extremely dirty in apocrypha let’s make him as awesome as possible in lb1 to make up for it”
In Apocrypha, he was kind of just there until he pushed a kid into goop and rode a mecha for like ten minutes, and that was it.
So I wasn’t exactly thrilled to get him, but here it’s just “problem? not anymore. avicebron!!”
I’ve just been sort of
ever since someone pointed out how much of a uhhhhhhh bad look his stuff in apocrypha is even if I am not sure if the author was aware of how bad a look it was
If you have a problem just call Avicebron to do the job
He's definitely got a golem for that
1) I expect the author had no idea and didn’t even think to consider it.
2) He’s basically a mobile base.
Okay, despite there being some disappointment expressed in here about Viy's appearance, I'll give the writers that the I Am Watching with those noises in the background was simple but effective on me after experiencing the "yeah I was chopped to pieces and burned to ahses but I was vaguely conscious."
yeah that was what really sold me
i was like “I wish the design was more detailed but you got the spirit and that’s what counts”
They've got the spirit and the monster.
I admit, there are a lot of ways that Anastasia's "I will crush our enemies but I am going to look fantastic when I do so" could have be written in a way that I didn't like, but I'm enjoying her.
As the resident Russian history/literature nerd I am pleased by most things outside of one thing Sherlock says at some point, which just made me ugly laugh
As the resident "I know extremely little about Russia," I will probably miss that one thing.
Maybe one day she'll spook me.
Speaking of spooking, I had to rewatch a cutscene because I thought I saw something move on the screen out of the corner of my eye when I looked away at the end and thought I'd missed a silent Viy jumpscare. I had not.
I was surprised by Billy seeming to advocate leaving children to die for the sake of a stronger army, but it turns out he was just testing the waters. Good job, Billy the Kid.
I'm taking it that Ivan the Terrible is not having a great time.
Lb1: NOBODY has a good time
I think I'm about to have a particularly bad time. The AP costs have mostly been in the 20s, but after we defeated the Oprichniks, at a time where we have been warned there could be a massacre, the next quest costs 5 AP. Usually, this means that the battle is much easier.
I'm going to let Ibaraki and Jalter take point on this one.
Look, I worry that there's the possibility that this is going to turn into the slaughter of civilians, and Jalter will not have a bad time if that's what's up.
yeah but you're still using her
Keep up that talk and I'll put in Mordred, too.
"Remaining: 100" Oh how noice.
Imagine my shock when they didn’t make me fight all 100 of them with no warning. I just barely kept my frontline all up since I had two Berserkers.
Anyway, Jalter is back to the backline, you may be pleased to know.
And Avicebron sure is getting better served by LB1. He’s the entire cavalry.
take her out of the party completely
or i'll tag you with her and make you deal with her
I will call your bluff. I’m not currently on any memes, so you’d have to app her to Aefenglom.
the apo servants in general really get the rub of the green in fgo though which is good considering how many were underused in the ln/anime
they always build off what was established in apo rather than starting them from square one so all in all it adds up to some very satisfying arcs
If I were a normal person, I’d say that getting her bond to max sooner means it’s sooner that using her would be a waste of bond points, but that’s never stopped me before.
mine's bond 9 race you there
i figure the grail bond... things... are close enough that i can afford to max her out
But yeah, the Apocrypha story was way too packed. Probably because it was originally planned to be some big game which would have given more space to use 16 Servants and a bunch of humans.
You will win, because mine is like...Bond 7? Maybe 6 but almost 7?
But Ibaraki has been max bond since like Babylonia and I’m still playing this entire story with her if possible.
And here’s where I got Cassie to brag that she uses Jalter a lot.
Anyway, what is it with basically everyone immediately starting with innuendo when they encounter Anya and Kadoc talking?
Anyway, that's where I stop for now. It is time for playing D&D.
Aw heck no, AU Kirei got his hands on Patsy.....
My feelings exactly, Mash — oh wait, it’s not censoring her swearing the air blue.
They sure clarified Avicebron’s feelings on humans a lot more than in Apocrypha to something more nuanced.
OH MY GOSH HOLMES TAKING CREDIT FOR DA VINCI’S WORK YOU LOSER. This man is a menace but I still like him.
Oh my GOSH Salieri, your EVERYTHING is SO DRAMATIC.
Salieri is having a hard time
Like I knew it, but I was not prepared for the operatic singing every time he did something in combat.
HE'S SO DRAMATIC AND I LOVE HIM
Also hello Kadoc. Are we going to get an explanation for why the Crypters are gunning for me other than they’re jelly that I did the hero thing instead of them and got to be the one labelled a criminal by the disbelieving outside world??
They did talk about the foreign god reviving them, but I’m pretty sure everyone expected to be able to thaw them out eventually. Did they just...panic???
Like I guess Kadoc I could see getting wrapped up in an inferiority complex, and Longhair McGee seems the sort to decide to remake the world for whatever reason, but thus far I’m scratching my head.
This doesn't get explained super clearly, but I think what the game is trying to imply is that when the foreign god approached the crypters
in that moment, they were either literally near death or they believed they were near death
I guess they made a mistake and got locked in to a sour deal, but...I guess it’s possible that this whole “why was it you?” is only Kadoc’s deal.
Because it’s super flimsy.
Literally it was just that Ritsuka didn’t seem important enough to try to kill at the time.
I mean, I guess they don’t have to be completely logical. People get resentments for silly reasons all the time.
But until such point that the game explains it further, I’m unmoved.
oh no they were dead as fuck otherwise
Some of them are acting really high-handed for a bunch of people who fucked up and killed everyone to maybe not die.
for the record my favourites are ophelia, pepe, and kirschtaria in that order so even if all three of them seem Very Stereotypical rn things will change
I’m glad to hear it, especially about the one who seemed like The Token Gay at the start, and also about the one who seemed like “the serious girl who cracked under the strain and clings to a strong dude.”
Kirschtaria I currently only think “probably prick silver medallist.”
Yeah Kadoc's scene makes me think that it was literally a "you can work with me or die" thing, and at least Kadoc, in particular, is so obsessed with trying to prove himself that he couldn't let that chance go
I really want to bounce off a Kadoc someday
yeah I genuinely know nothing about Pepe except that he apparently owns really hard
Kadoc I think is also the only one who has this weird complex about Ritsuka in particular
like, I don't think the other crypters feel that way about them that's just kadoc and his gnawing sense of insecurity
also from a narrative sense, I feel like... I really liked lb1, but I almost feel like the narrative is going a bit too hard in showing how unfair the situation is for ritsuka
yeah ^^ kadoc is the only one who even really gives a fuck about us, the others are indifferent or outright dismissive
pepe absolutely owns real hard
I think it's because Kadoc is sort of the closest to Ritsuka of all the Crypters, in terms of like, background pedigree
i'm only saying that much bc i had the exact same fear lol i'm like oh boy here's the creepy flamboyant gay villain here we go! but WOW is he not that. i mean he's flamboyant and crushes on daybit but he's such a bro it's insane
like obviously he has SOME magical history in his family, vs Ritsuka who has either none or next to none, but yeah
nekokoban: GOSH getting to RP Ritsuka off of Kadoc would be SICK. You’d get to actually explore Ritsuka’s reactions in a format that you weren’t stuck to choices for dialogue for her.
yeah for someone even SHITTIER at magic than him to do this shit is like a personal affront to him
whereas the others are all stupidly op in one way or another so they're just like "oh this person exists ig", or acknowledge you as the saviour of humanity but w/o being a pissbaby about it
I just want to play off a Kadoc for the stuff immediately post LB1 and maybe they can get into a proper fistfight
no Servants just trying to break his nose
please i like him a lot but he deserves it
they also (so far) all have very differing reasons for accepting the offer besides fuck you got mine
... there might be one exception to that but yeah. give them time
Pepe sounds basically like Sylvando from DQXI who you are terrified will be offensive but like immediately proves to be the best character in the damn game
relares: It’s kind of taking away my ability to take the Crypters seriously, but I am sure that 1) I’ll probably come around given I’m told that there are some neat folks, and 2) I don’t need to be able to take a FGO story seriously to enjoy it. It’s
FGO: missing my personal preferences is a matter of course.
I mean the truth is that I'm castmate greedy and would love to play with anyone and everyone but in terms of People I Have Immediate Ideas For, Kadoc is one of them
he's objectively the best one imo i'm just bias towards ophelia cause i'm gay
So I’m excited to see more of him
All of them really they seem great
Though look, while I’m picking on Kadoc’s ridiculous grudge, I am fond of the dude if just for his interactions with Anastasia.
I’m so glad they brought back the enemy master+servant dynamics
the manga chapters give a lot more info on the crypter's mindsets too, be sure to read those after you complete each chapter (they are VERY spoilery)
it's what fgo was missing imo
“he's objectively the best one imo i'm just bias towards ophelia cause i'm gay” I’m basically 99% sure this will also be my experience.
It felt like the series in general had veered away from it a while in favor of weird harem shit what with Extella also ditching enemy masters for some fuckin reason
she's good enough to stand on her own as a character just fine but. hot girl with an eyepatch definitely helps her
she was the only one i liked when the designs originally got revealed lmao, well i like daybit but he's appropriating lesbian fashion (i'm kidding)
yeah hard agree... and since you lack that real intense master/servant dynamic with ritsuka for the most part (outside of mash) since they're so deliberately faceless it was like ok fgo i love you but this IS one of my favourite parts of fate. where is it
Also like hard agree on the enemy master+servant combos, but also I’m laughing because the battle I just went through had the whole cool setup of showing Kadoc’s master seals and I was interested to see how that went, but because it was the easy intro version with no break bars, I took two turns to finish setting up and then I nearly 100-to-0ed the fight.
haha, I don't blame you for not being able to take it seriously
given that the story right now is like
FOR SAVING THE WORLD?????
I’m sure it’ll come up again and I’ll find out what it means.
THESE PEOPLE WERE SUPPOSED TO DO IT AND YOU JUST STOLE ALL THE GLORY! WHILE THEY WERE IN A COMA!
rip to team a but i'm different
I like koyanskaya a lot (I know it's a bad trope, but I'm pretty weak for hot lady villains who are mean to me) but some of her lines are just like
Pink-haired lady whose name is right in here tried it starting at the prologue and I was like “really? that’s what you’re trying?”
koyansjgkdfjgk works best when she's bouncing off other non-"us" characters
her villain schtick gets old at times but when she's dragging other people's skeletons out of the closet it's amazing
I have no idea how to search for this meme, but a lot of my reaction to kadoc can be summed up by that image of two dudes with their hands up near their eyes in exaggerated crying mimes
“They would have done better” no shit I only survived because I got kicked out for falling asleep at orientation
“They deserves the glory” I’m literally on my way back from being interrogated by people who don’t believe me to sit in the brig
"aw, is someone upset that they don't get to be the self-insert protagonist of a mobile game?"
I mean tbh I feel like Mash was more offended by that getting thrown at us than [Ritsuka] is
but Mash is ride or die hardcore
yeah I love a villain team that’s full of drama and the crypters+koyanskaya and Kotomine deliver
Both to the meme description and to rip to team a.
Senpai is PERFECT how DARE YOU (mash it’s okay)
...I feel like I was supposed to see Viy in her NP or something to make this after cutscene make more sense, but I finished the fight too early.
There we go. YouTube video of her NP watched.
anastasia's a pretty cool cursed gal. I appreciate her
I feel like having the name VIY VIY VIY cuts some of the drama, but I do also appreciate her.
Oh my gosh, Avicebron just saved us with the silly snow golems idea from the previous night........
And then Kadoc, who has been talking about abandoning servants left and right, just took a blow for Anya, whose reaction was basically “but why tho.”
I appreciate that sequence.
kadoc might claim he thinks oshimen accounts are stupid
Anyway, I’m glad I mentioned about my thoughts on crypter motivations and got some clarification, despite my standard no spoilers policies. I can absolutely take the “how DARE YOU not happen to be in a danger spot” from Kadoc’s inferiority complex.
The fact that the prologue tried so hard to make it seem like you did a bad thing by being a mobage protag instead of a bunch of plausibly dead people made me mistake it for a major Crypter motivating factor and it felt so silly as an organizing principle.
I still don’t take them seriously yet, but hey maybe one day.
The addition of the master-servant enemy dynamics makes it fun so I don’t care if I end up spending the whole time rolling my eyes at them.
thumbs up! I figured it was worth bringing up just because... it felt more like a gap in the storytelling
It’s something I can find the pieces of when I look back on things, but it got hidden among the “HOW DARE YOU YOU MONSTER” “uh aren’t I the only one here who didn’t kill literally every human on the planet” “BUT THEY DIDN’T TAKE SOMEONE’S PLACE UNLIKE YOU” messaging that I felt was being pushed.
Taking a moment to scream about how much Fate did Artemis dirty again, courtesy of finding out that Artemis loving Orion is probably the least likely version of the story on top of, you know, taking that to mean she was obsessed with him.
Miscellaneous Myths: Orion
Is it standard for Fate to take the version most known of a myth even when they specifically mention it isn’t the original version? Yeah. Does the most popular version of the myth provide any reason to characterize Artemis like that? No.
I’m preaching to the choir, but I wanted to scream this out when it came to mind again because I hate the way they chose to portray one of my top three Olympians from when I read various kids’ versions of the myths as a child.
(Top three at the time were Athena, Artemis, and Hestia. I don’t know if small me would have made the connection of “women whose identity wasn’t tied up in some romantic relationship,” but I suspect it had an influence. Honourable mention to Hephaestus because bitty me thought he got a raw deal, which from what I remember of his myths sounds true.)
Salieri: If I am your ally, then Amadeus must be your enemy.
Mash: No...not Amadeus!
Ritsuka: It never gets any easier, facing former friends as enemies....
Me: I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.
I think he might be suffering from his association with Shakespeare in my mind as "low-rarity support Caster that is specific to one 'element.'"
I mean............... as an enemy, mozart isn't that scary of a threat...
I think they were more upset that Salieri is like “I’m tooootally going to murder him guys,” but that’s also true.
I forgot this was Salieri’s intro node, so my reaction to Amadeus Alter was like “this feels like the second least necessary alter after Shakespeare with his alignment inverted.”
She also basically started talking to us by saying, “I am the Grand Duchess Anastasia: specifically, the one tied to this Lostbelt, and I use the familiar tied to the Romanov family that I, Anastasia, belong to.”
OH SO THAT'S WHY ANASTASIA IS ALSO ACTING AS IVAN THE TERRIBLE'S WIFE IT'S NOT SOME WEIRD I BECAME MY OWN GRANDPA NONSENSE IVAN'S WIFE HAD THAT NAME, TOO.
The only downside of Avicebron. "[You think that this terrifying, dangerous enemy that we could avoid would] make for good golem materials?" "... ...Yes."
(It's not a big downside.)
avicebron turns to you. he's wearing a mask, but you get the sense that he's looking at you with a beseeching expression...
Also Salieri is so incredibly pleased if you like how he did in battle.
Salieri is a big dork and I love him
Sherlock, your hobby is being a smartass and don't deny it.
I love this nerd with all my heart.
Every time we return to the rebel base, I am certain that we are going to call out to be let in and get no response because the Oprichniki have raised it to the ground.
What the fuck, child.
Don’t worry, Atalante. I don’t consider Goredolf to be my superior in any way.
Grumble grumble the game forced me to call him Director and I gave into the idea of knowing what was happening to not just skip rather than call him that.
Just imagine Ritsuka saying it in the most sarcastic tone possible
I am. I refuse to acknowledge that Director Olga Marie is dead despite overwhelming evidence, lmao.
Also I forgot to report that I discovered what bond level my Jalter is last night since she went up to 7.
OH BOY A CHOICE FIGHT AND I GET TO TAILOR IT AFTER THE CUTSCENE I AM EXCITE.
...wait, I have like zero context for choosing between the tunnel and the lumberjacks.
it basically changes who you hang out with for the next battle
one is salieri, the other is avicebron
I think salieri is lumberjack
I ended up going with the lumberjacks because it seemed like the option that would frustrate Goredolf the most since the stuff we need is in the tunnels and he might want us to grab it and run, but now we gotta stay until the end.
Bunyan is a good argument, too.
Salieri was indeed with the lumberjacks and had to “psyche himself up” for battle by pretending the giant snakes were Mozart.
salieri: hold on a moment, I need to [ turns around to yell into a tantrum hole ] OKAY I'M READY NOW
Ah, I forgot these things seal skills and I can’t remove that debuff because Ibaraki can’t use her debuff-removing skill.
Fortunately, I used most of my skills turn one for once instead of sitting on them so Ibaraki has the defence ups to survive getting picked on and that charged her NP.
375k to zero with an NP buster brave chain, that did get an unlikely crit, but the overkill makes me wonder if I would have beaten it that round anyway.
Golly, three days to attacking Moscow.
Napoleon wishes he were this fortunate.
Hmmm, three quests in a row going down the pathways to the Shadow Border with basically no cutscenes, and then a few inches outside of the Shadow Border, the next stage is at the fort. It could be that we do the Shadow Border stuff and then timeskip ahead time the launching of the invasion, BUT I SUSPECT SOMETHING GOES WRONG HERE.
I forgive her for everything. (She’s in a spare body and is too small to use my Mystic Code, so I guess she can’t waltz around like the other Servants.)
“What if we made the front into a fork shape?” I’m pretty sure we’d have new features if it was da Vinci helping out instead of Sherlock.
“Let’s have a cup of coffee and then a nap.” Are you sure about that order.....
How fast are we going?!
...is this an Asterios Alter.....
It always feels bad when Ibaraki goes down without using her NP because I was saving it for the next bar and it turns out the victory condition was the first break bar, which I could have finished off before Asterios Alter could do anything.
(I know it says Minotaur. I’m saying Asterios Alter.)
Also read: it’s always sad when the goal is one break bar because 95% of the time I don’t realize and have a full arsenal ready for the second bar.
Well, my battery is running low and I need to shower/eat, so the resolution of reuniting with Patsy will have to wait.
(I had assumed Skadi and the giant rings she needs would be in the cold Lostbelt, but I realize that Napoleon’s chunk might be Europish, which includes Skandinavia.
I mean, there’s still about half a dozen sections left, but Skadi seems the sort they’d want to give a big role since they put her on the anniversary banner, gave her the appearance of a popular previous Servant, and made extremely powerful.
The feeling when you get multiple copies of a 5-star you don’t like:
Where’s my “yeah that’s fair” option
There wasn't a "I'm not a furry" option for talking to him later about smooth skin, but that I didn't mind. (Okay, "That fur DOES look nice and warm..." is pretty noncomittal.)
OH MY GOSH THE SHADOW OF EDISON WITH HIS THEME MUSIC
As is Napoleon. Ana and Ivan were the big fancy five stars for lb1
I got hoodwinked by her needing ice chunks for skills.
Also with the Giant Rings, I could see Ivan vs. Jotuns going full kaiju.
But it's literally just "she's from the cold place, right??"
I'm always startled when Gudako shows up on screen, since it happens so rarely.
...I FORGOT ABOUT THE CHALDEAN SWORDSPERSON. "Halt, scoundrels....."
"One hair on her beautiful head"...Musashi remains someone who wields two swords.
"...Oh, he is SO my type." Good tastes, two swords.
.......Shinmen Musashi-no-whatnow?
The summary of Musashi's findings in three months: Russia is cold. That's about the sum of it anyway.
Billy and Beowulf were actually heartwarming, which I was more surprised about the latter. Also I continue to enjoy Billy's accent.
I’m really glad they added it in! It really strengthens his character. Excellent localization touch.
It can be so hard to manage accents in English text, but they did it!
Command spell binding cells have got to be mana-intensive to build.....
Thank goodness Avicebron finished repairing the Shadow Border before he (possibly) defected.
MEUNIÈRE’S FIRST NAME IS JINGLE?!
JOHN JACOB JINGLE ABEL MEUNIEÈRE?!
"Beowulf, I take it you would prefer to go charging in?"
"Huh? Well, yeah, pretty much." Much strategy.
He's too squishy for that.
Also I see we are continuing Patsy's no-good, unfun week of stress.
Patsy you've been playing too much Dangan Ronpa.
I don’t know if I can promise that.
I'm sure there's no message I need to be taking from Musashi talking to Mash about how sometimes you feel like you have nothing left to give and it's okay to worry about things. It's just about life-and-death fantasy battles.
Pepe and Ophelia for best girls.
"All I could do was cling to the lucky coincidence that I just happened to be able to command high-quality Servants." same hat, kadoc!!
So basically da Vinci is saying that the most notable characteristic of Casters is that they're all weirdos. Sounds right.
The flashing past of the main Servants of the singularities when Kadoc was about to go on a Gudako inferiority rant made me think that the first thing is "she got to meet SO MANY HOT PEOPLE IT'S UNFAIR."
"She got to [...] accomplish something so great that no one could ever deny her worth." WANNA BET
The ordering of events given here was weird, because Kadoc remembers hearing about Gudako saving the world, and THEN about the one who gave an offer of rebirth, but if it was in that order, it would suggest that they were conscious enough for over a year to listen in on someone saying something and yet still assumed they would die otherwise????
If y'all hand't explained how the motives went, I would still have no idea why these guys were where they are.
Anastasia often talks about things many might consider frivolous and banters, but she’s also decided to spend her entire time as a Servant never letting her guard down after the way she died in life. Anya’s a nifty character.
Every character in this singularity’s real good
I’ve ragged on several of them, deservedly or undeservedly, but I have enjoyed the lot of them.
I’m so glad I chose to ask for the pinky promise. (I gotta get to my Leslie tags.)
Beowulf is falling behind on the blush race, but I’m here to embarrass everyone who follows me.
“I’m just want to show her that her actions have consequences.” I didn’t set up the bomb, man.
Billy killed hundreds of them with a six-shooter. He’s reloaded up to 50 times mid-combat.
That’s a lot of ducking and weaving.
That was a good one-against-impossible-odds scene, Billy the Kid.
ANOTHER TIME I HELD BACK IBARAKI’S NP FOR THE SECOND BREAK BAR AND THE FIGHT ENDED AT ONE.
I THINK SALIERI IS THE ONLY ONE WHOSE BREAK BARS WERE NOT A LIE IN THIS ENTIRE LOSTBELT.
Thanks for not pretending, Anastasia.
Oof, we’ve got at least three bosses to go and Asterios Alter gave me a run for my money. I’m not entirely sure I would have landed enough damage without Jalter’s Nullify Buff stopping him from getting his defence up before Ibaraki’s NP and who knows if I’d have survived next round.
(He had a hundred something thousand HP, so Ibaraki would have probably done fine with triple attack boost, but my arctic gear is level 1 for I think obvious reasons.
Ah, fudge, he has Asterios memories. That’s rough.
Apocrypha fans sit up in their seats.
I wondered if we might go down this path given this gives him a better shot than Apocrypha did, but even if he tried to make his Master the core again, this would have given him much more time to explore his reasons.
Boy, they went hard on Justice For Avicebron here, which I appreciate. I much prefer liking a Servant to not and I was expecting to not like him when I summoned him way back when.
Good for her.
“ Well great. Guess I’m just going to set a new record for the longest performance of all time.” Amadeus, you’re not bad.
Hating him all that time, knowing that your hate would be unrequited...Fate can do some pretty decent queerbaiting, or so I assume was the intent. It doesn’t seem like something one would do by accident.
honestly I find it impossible to interpret anything about that Mozart/Salieri scene as anything but OH THEY FUCKIN
I thought for a moment the Oprichniki were about to just repeat “The Tsar is waking up” until they all disappeared, since they seem to have limited sentience. I would have found it creepy.
KADOC IS READY FOR HIS REALITY SHOW DÉBUT!!
He’s
really underestimating what is meant by “a terrible mage.”
Probably because he places himself barely above the bottom and assumes no one could be so significantly worse.
I like her.
I'm glad to hear that you liked what they did with Avicebron!
I think his arc is one of my favorites in lb1 because, if you're coming in with knowledge from apocrypha, it really plays with your expectations
I like them.
They are, and I didn’t have to make an innuendo when I met them. (stares at the fake priest) (stares at Longhair McGee’s lancer)
She cannot be flapped.
I did get a kaiju battle after all.
avicebron knows what ritsuka is about and it's using a giant golem to wrestle with a prehistoric mammoth looking thing
Ritsuka does have so many options to go MECHA IS THE DREAM OF HUMANKIND, so she must be having the time of her life.
Also lmao after all that huge long cutscene (“I’ll go to bed after this cutscene,” so it was inevitably going to be long), it changed to midnight EDT while I was in there and so it unceremoniously booted me out to the main menu.
I guess we will fight Ivan the Terrible tomorrow.
What...terrible timing.
oh the anger i just felt in my soul
It’ll give me a chance to remember “oh, I probably should take Medea out against a Rider even though she has buff removal.”
I’ve barely changed my party since the start of the Lostbelt, or at least since Mash checked out. First slot: story support. Second slot: level 100 Ibaraki with attack boost and 50% NP (this one has not changed since the moment I got my formation unrestricted). Third slot: usually Ereshkigal with buster/np strength/50%, but she got moved to 4th a few times.
Fourth slot: first half, Hans with party HP boost, but for Anastasia and a couple of fights after, I put Billy in slot 3 and Ereshkigal waited here. After that, they got replaced by level 80 Medea with a 4-star CE. Fifth slot: Jalter with the same as Ibaraki. Sixth: first Chacha, then Asterios with 100% NP as a panic button, with the switch happening early.
That’s basically it. Slot 4 got three changes and swapped places with slot 3 a few times.
Gonna give my mana to Ibaraki and trust that she’ll get me through anything.
I miss Mash, though. First couple of battles before Mash retired were Mash/Ibaraki/Ereshkigal, which had decent defensive options.
The Ivan the Terrible fight...was rough....
I ended up using both a command seal and doing a reset on a turn when, after not doing it the whole break bar, he used his NP charge. So I reset and used the defence up I’d been saving...and then he didn’t this time. But...Serenity hit her Skill and NP seals. Just barely squeaked our the win.
The golem skills were real neat, and I probably could have done it normally if I’d swapped out Jalter for Melt, but I limped across that finish line.
The Salieri backdrop music was real cool.
I loved the Salieri backdrop
Well, that must have been a fun moment for Ritsuka when she’s already spent the entire Lostbelt worries about Mash’s condition.
I also can’t believe Goredolf has an applicable skill. (I’m kidding. I rag on him and will probably continue to do so until the end of time, but I know he’s supposed to get character growth and they’ve been laying the groundwork for his driving skill.)
GOSH I missed Mash playing this whole Lostbelt with a Berserker, and also just because I like her. I know she doesn’t have the same godlike skills (I don’t actually know what her non-Galahad setup is), but I need the shield.
Despite the seriousness of the moment, I let out a high-pitched giggle here. (Autocorrect is insistent on replacing giggle with an all-caps h-word like HUGGLE or HUFFLE and I can’t recall typing those but no I mean giggle.)
Salieri cannot stop being a big dweeb and that’s beautiful
Salieri...is a cute dork.
mash's arc in lb1 is.............. it's real good
I know her kit's not as good as it was in part 1, but I got real teary at her bits!
Her arc was extremely good! Even if I am crying to lose Honorable Wall of Snowflakes.
I’m so happy to have her back in the story.
“Is she being a pragmatist or a fool?” I guess Anya and Kadoc will find out later.
If I hadn’t heard a bunch of people clamouring to be allowed to summon Raspitinmine, I would have been quite surprised by the reveal.
...Ah. Anastasia didn’t know. That makes sense.
Oh, okay, I’m still surprised when Rasputin is like “all right, all good now, you can take the wheel, Kirei.”
OH COME ON ANYA DON’T LEAVE THE REST OF US HANGING
being enough of a troublemaker that all of this nonsense happens
and letting KIREI KOTOMINE take over the body and your servant powers
Ra Ra Kotomin Russia’s Greatest Love Machine
Rasputin managed to be the WORST by, well. Not being.
(which might be a corpse???)
I want the tea on the what the FUCK is going on with those two
SOME BULLSHIT, I’m sure but please give us the tea eventually Lostbelts.
“...I think that’s why he was always so considerate to me, even here.”
flashback to the first meeting the player was shown of Rasputin and Anya
“Sorry to interrupt the pillow talk.” “Don’t be crass, asshole.” (This might be paraphrased.)
A note to Ivan the Terrible: AOE buff removal, especially for the first battle back for a buff servant, is TERRIBLY RUDE.
Melt was a good addition, though, especially when Ivan nuked Ibaraki through Mold Camelot. (Poor Mash sounds stressed for her NP now.)
I’d much rather be fighting against the Theoretical Pruning Phenomenon, but I guess we gotta beat up the Lostbelts instead.
Beowulf has some excellent scenes this Lostbelt. I should throw my copy some love.
Oh, Patsy..... I’m glad I at least got to grant your wish to see Ritsuka in despair before you died.
My face lit up like a Christmas tree. “Who’s this unknown silver Servant?” He’s back.
me, sobbing: was it worth it patxi
Making her cry turned out...to not be...as fun as he thought it would be.....
Also, ah, Atalante. Ah, the rebels. They’re good.
These are good hets, Bront
I did indeed fulfill that comic as I intended. I did reset twice during the first break to give Ibaraki an evade and then a Command Seal of restoring spirit origin so she survived the NP round, but after that it was just straight through 90% Ibaraki. She NPed on all three break bars and I command sealed a fourth NP to get through the guts.
She got two different 10% crits to go off because she’s great.
Also: thank you to Billy for the crit down. Thank you to Mash for the defences. Thank you to Ereshkigal for the buffs and damage chain to get her into defeat range.
Ah. Well. Billy is such a good Servant, but so is Anastasia. Even with her trauma, she took the bullet.
(through tears) They’re good hets.
.......who is even left to fight.....
I’ve got no command spells and no idea what is coming. Time to find out.
Also....... they’re good hets...
Kadoc and Anastasia are good
Kadoc's VA also ships them hard, haha
It’s amazing how we can make “fight a tree” a big thing.
And yes, Ibaraki is great. Hope she clutches through this one, too!
I really like the music for the fights. It's very suspensful.
“Decrease damage taken from Buster cards.” UH OH.
Good thing I have Melt around.
MELT... IS VERY GOOD AT CUTTING DOWN TREES...
Ooof. I got to a point where the only way I could lose is if the tree crit three times in a row and they all hit Melt when there were two people left.
oh... so close, but... so far...
After taking the lessons from my first try: there ain’t no kill like overkill.
Oh...hello again, naked alien lady.
Thanks, ma’am. We weren’t sure how to solve that problem.
Even Sherlock is unnerved.
Even in sarcasm, why must I??
Oh no, this Patsy CE........
That was a good Lostbelt. But now I should get out of bed and have breakfast.
Thanks for all the help along the way as my Mash-isn’t-here defensive support.
I still have another Lostbelt to go for her, but...getting closer!!
And thank you all for accompanying me along the way. I’ll make a new plurk when I get to the next one.
I hope you have fun with LB2, when you decide to sit down and play it.
It'll probably be sooner than it would have been, as I want to get Skadi to a better position to make it slightly less painful when I try to form a team around her to fight Salter.
just uh stick to kadoc's chapter bc spoilers otherwise
Oh, it’s different chapters for each belt, huh?
and it's all post-chapter stuff with the exception of hinako's which still spoils a good chunk of hers, so
god the absolute chad pepe though hurry up lb4 in eng i love u so much
I feel like the lecturer must finish his “As for Lancers...” with “they always die because of their shit luck.”
lol me every time caenis starts getting a big head
And just Ophelia mentioning Mash positively has me smiling, because the one single line about them has made me already heavily emotionally invested in the Pepe, Ophelia, and Mash lunchtime trio.
here's a gift then
Also I read the chapter and they’re such good hets I’m gonna cry.
the lostbelts are all basically good het content and it's infuriating
me thirsting for f/f, but unable to deny the good hets
And I can certainly feel that frustration over “oh no, I can’t complain about these hets.”
every lostbelt has one at minimum... lb2 has three of the fuckers, though i hesitate to call one "good", more like cursed
thank god skadi is for medb in chaldea
Also after this Lostbelt and reading that chapter, I may have looked up Anastasia’s rate-up campaigns because I want to summon her so she can hang outside of Kadoc’s cell, wherever we put him.
tfw she doesn't remember him
It’s possible that I might have been wanting to pull for Skadi less as a support for my Quick Servants (though I have several that I love very much) and more because of a single line I read from Saber Medb when I was looking into stuff for RPing her.
oh events ship them a bunch dw there's more than just that
She can make new memories with him, okay.
most of the lostbelt servants don't remember things outside of a few explicit exceptions
Not making Saber Medb a Quick Servant is super rude.
If they’re going to ship them let me have good reasons to put them in combat together (psyche I’m doing it anyway I’ve made Tamamo support plenty of Buster servants because I don’t use Waver and Merlin to spite the community)
Scathach-Skadi:
Calm down. I do not care what you have to say about it. Ice cream is more important to me than that…
Medb:
If you want ice cream, then I’ll go and buy some for you! It’ll be after our trip to the salon. C’mon, c’mon!
oh I didn't know about this manga, but I'm glad for it
i'm absolutely busting waiting for kirsch's one lmao
Wait, they give Medb and Skadi an entire side story in an event next year? My goodness.
I will probably wait for it to come out, but I will keep this translation in my bookmarks if I end up losing patience.
me sitting in the corner muttering please give us more canon material with female Ritsuka, but also, I liked all of these
no they're fucking cowards
i'm still mad the shinjuku manga didn't use her
Yeah, I liked most of the chapter, but when he said “he” when it was literally a cropped shot of the hand that they could have just left vague, I was unhappy.
