I'm not sure everything that's been happening in other parts of the world, but I'm sure this kind of thing must be taking place everywhere right now.

People from the local community have volunteered to assist those who are in self-isolation for whatever Covid-related reason. In my case, it's because my stem-cell transplant was less than six months ago.*

*it was pretty much exactly six months ago, so we weren't sure at first if I was going to be counted for it, but I've received my government mandated NHS letter, so!

So we've been connected to a local volunteer, who's going to collect meds for us. Fortunately we've got everything else under control at the moment, ordering food online and what not.

But! I was inspired by vandesdelca to maybe try and sew a little "thank you!" item tomorrow before she comes to deliver stuff for us on Friday;;

I'm not even sure how willing people are to accept things from strangers right now, wah, but. I AM STERILE, DARN IT.... our house is safe........ but yeah, I think that's my plan for tomorrow. It'll probably just be a heart-shaped badge or something, nothing too fancy. wah.

That will be a cute and touching idea
