I would say it does, but I suppose it depends on what about soda was the "focus." Like if it was giving up caffeine and you get your caffeine entirely from soda, but the mixed drink doesn't have caffeine, then I would say it wouldn't.

it was more I was drinking way too much of it.. caffeine doesn't do anything for me cause I was raised on soda and sweet tea lol
