In looking at your requested spellsets this round, we were kind of struck with the realization that an astounding number of our spells (especially at first tier, and especially as they’re first issued, with tier 2 and 3 buffs in mind) are nerfed to a degree that they’re either near unusable or lack any real resemblance to the intended function of the spells.

This has led to two choices:

1.) - We will no longer be issuing tier 1 and 2 spells “weaker” and then buffing them with each tier. We will still be providing tier 1 spells a choice of an additional feature buff at tier 3, since those aren’t written into the original spell itself. Power sets accepted this round will receive their tier 1 spells at full capacity.

2.) - We’re going through the spell compendium and buffing... basically everything, especially the non-combat spells like Disguise Self or Alarm, to be more functional as intended. Most of the buffs focus on spell duration, which seems to have suffered the hardest.

This will be introduced in a mini-event in early March for a lore excuse for the buffs, and will be accompanied by each person receiving a reply regarding buffs and alterations to their current spellset, with intent to make them more fun and functional for y’all.

Apologies to the current app round’s newbies waiting for spells to be reviewed! We’re working out The New Standards and will be hitting you up with replies as soon as we can. We appreciate your patience and hope to be transparent as possible regarding the state of our power system!

And a thank you to the few who’ve come to us with your concerns about the unusability of early tier spells - we want this to be a fun system to use, and your feedback has really helped us figure out how to make that happen. We consider it a high priority for us to resolve any issues within the game that might not be providing a good time for all.

I would advise that personally!

you can put it up whenever though it just may take a while to get to it since things are on a kind of pause
