A lot of time was spent on some historical stuff and then a really disturbing look into what's been going on with the Sperados and the crown prince.

But there's also, presenting: Action Leslie!

She's starting her weapon training in the comic just in time for Aefenglom having multiple people express interest in teaching her how to use a weapon.

She was excitedly dreaming about what she was going to learn first and the duchess went "hmm, 20 laps around the training yard."

The head of the house's knights looked at Leslie and cut it in half, but he was still amazed she ran it all the way without complaint.

ISN'T IT ADORABLE???

I thought it was going to be pretty ordinary based on the outfit she was looking at in a previous chapter, and I thought Leslie would be doing the heavy lifting on it being cute anyway, but no, they went all in on cute.

"Does Leslie insist on curtsying when she introduces herself quite as much as I've been writing?" and then this chapter came to give me a pat on the back because she took hold of the tunic in order to curtsy even in this outfit.

Also a good reference: Leslie is indeed 100% certain that she will be the duchess when she grows up.

i.e. tall and unbelievably strong in both physical and magical combat.

Well, maybe not certain, but 100% dedicated to the goal. She does acknowledge that it might not happen, but she's never going to stop trying and she's never going to let herself get frustrated with how hard the goal is to achieve, because she's always going to admire the duchess and will never be jealous of her.

Leslie is a good bean.

I think she was written as a character study of how cute and good of a bean someone can be.

I love Leslie so much. I BELIEVE IN HER DREAMS!!!

are they unreasonable? perhaps. but I believe in her.

However close it is possible for someone in her condition to get to being the duchess, I am sure she will reach that point.
