(gomens) in which Neil Gaiman wrote a really bad movie script in the 90s because he wanted to see what the studio people would do.

other things I take issue with: if Crowley's going to stir up trouble (note to self: Crowley actually does shit like stir up trouble maybe try that sometime genius) he would not frame random people for crimes, that's not encouraging evil, that's just you having no imagination at all.

his whole weird relationship with Satan, as well, is. a hardcore nope. Crowley is notably and loudly anti-crawling. it's a freaking character moment.

(to be fair, stirring up mischief is hard. but if you want ethereal help, the angel is offered up as an accomplice)

I think also there are like ten other sundered hanging around and Crowley's not too interested in taking most of them down a peg. (this should not transfer into him being so helpful. >_> but to be fair, first time he's had a chance to be without consequences.)

Sent Neil an ask about why Alpha Centauri, which will probably not get seen, but if the answer isn't the two stars one orbit thing I'm pulling rank and saying my answer is better

the two stars is a very good answer. I can't see why it wouldn't be

They don't like each other nearly enough in the 90s script for that to be why. At least initially. That's definitely why for my Crowley though.
