I've been trying to find a way to get people to understand how bad the fires are and that piece has really useful comparisons. Being able to see smoke in London from a fire in St Petersburg really brings home the sheer size of the smoke plume.
I'm heartbroken by this and will be donating later to both a human and an animal charity.
