I work in a hospital laboratory. We get everyone's little tubes of blood/etc., analyze them, and send in the results.

I am working in the "if nobody in the whole place knows what to do with this, they send it to us" department.

Whole place being hundreds of lab scientists.

Hmph. On my way home for what might be my only realistic RP window of time. Currently pinned on a one-way street/on ramp by about.... seven emergency vehicles dealing with some mystery a few car lengths in front of me

I pulled over and parked the car.

Like "can't even drive backwards, there's another bunch flashing lights right behind me."

oh no

And another one drove the wrong way down the on ramp and stopped there.

Whatever happened, they have like 15 cops, a fire truck, and like two ambulances surrounding them.

There's no doubt that they've got the maximum possible professional assistance right there.

Make that 3 ambulances.

They cleared out pretty quickly. There was no obvious evidence of whatever it was that happened. Who knows...

And now I'm finally home and grar, no fun that I'm so tired...

Caffeine can only do so much.
