It would probably hurt or annoy a ghost, but it's not fashioned to hold it still to maneuver it into a trap. So it'd be less effective for ghostbusting, but maybe they can get creative with it.

yeah. which is why he's not going out there hunting. plus there's the whole eating souls thing, and that would just get messy.
