I watch "Weathering with you" last weekend, and it became my favorite film of Shinkai.
Do any of you likes Shinkai's films? Which is your favorite? Please share with me!
BTW, I used to love "The Garden of Words" the most.

I personally don't like Shinkai's movies that much. They are not good, not bad for me. Maybe because I am not into teenage love stuff. I myself am more of Ghibli fan, although movies like Perfect Blue and Paprika are also my favourites.

plurkenjoy: "The Girl who Leapt Through Time"? Now that's a great one. Shinkai's aesthetic scenes are great, but I really can't love the story. It even only takes one wrong voice cast to put me off, this is never the case with Japanese animated movies, though.

I don't think I have a deep connection with Shinkai's movie just yet. Haven't watched that much. I'm not really emotionally involved when I watch them, but I do really like the music and almost every shot
