Yeah, more of an extrovert.
Right? I know I used to be an introvert. Considering my personality now, I don’t understand how people still think I am shy and introverted.
There is nothing wrong about being introverted. But he made me sound so ... fragile.
Like even a bit of attention frightens me.
Dude, I have been in front of people since I was in HS. Just because I like going home more than drinking does not make me an introvert.
Does he know what the word shy or wxtrovert mean?
you definitely strike me as an extrovert
and extroverts still need downtime
I know right? Then again, most of them think I am a choir girl, mormon, jehovahs witness.
However, I am such a nihilist and I just happen to like skirts.
When I went drinking with friends .. they were shocked I even drank
i do so well in adlibs and reports. How the hell am I shy?!!
Definitely also extrovert, like the entire time I've known you.
Thanks. I am just not sure anymore. Do I have to jump up and down for attention to be an extrovert.
I'm not really sure just what people are judging by, when they say introvert.
Maybe I will just ask. There is no harm.
It'll be a learning experience~ not on the part of learning yourself, but how other people perceive. =>
To be fair, unless you're a jejemon, trouble maker, or perform average in class, most people would assume smart people are introverts in this country
Introverts can be shy. Extroverts can be shy.
I'm an introvert. I can be outgoing and enjoy people and engage with them and it is FUCKING DRAINING EVERY MOMENT and I need HUGE swaths of time on my own to recover. But it's not like I don't enjoy it at the time.
Koyuyu Yeah. I haven't asked him yet. The exam earlier was murder. Hahaha!
riaxc I assumed that if you are in law school, you have to at least be smart. ^^;;;
Does that mean every person in law school is an introvert?
hauntedreality I am wired the same way. I can slay a performance or speech, but parties drain me much faster.
I mean, I like them just fine but I don't want to do it every week.
I do get stage fright with speeches but I don't think that has anything to do with my introversion. I think that's also just something a lot of people get but not everyone.
And I can do them despite the stage fright. It really just depends. Sometimes I do pretty well and sometimes my voice doesn't stop shaking and I keep speeding up
And I'm usually totally fine until the moment I stand up.
hauntedreality Hahaha Stage fright is normal. I am an extrovert, but I still get scared before anything. I think they are mostly saying this because I rarely like to go out drinking. With the amount of studying I need to do, they shouldn't blame me. For me, too much partying feels like a waste of time. It is not like I am trying to actively avoid people.
Yeeeah, that sounds like it is on them. Drinking =/= Extroversion!
Well, you assumed wrong. But that's okay, to err is human
Better to be able to speak in front than have stage fright
riaxc Oh well, I am not very smart to be honest. I need to study to barely pass. xDDD
Some of them I think is doing fine.
I am reading an article on Extroversion and Introversion. I have both signs just by reading.
Parties drain me but an audience feeds me. xDDD
also unrelated but i miss sheryl and bishop interacting XD
I miss it too. ;w; RP in general.
I would have liked to see where that association would go.
probably the same place where car crashes go XD
There is a middle point called Ambiversion or something like that.
I am reading on it. That seems right. I actually have both characteristics depending on the situation.
I guess what is grating a bit is their acting like I am a flower that will easily wilt
I wonder what gave them this idea though. xD
An audience is a different thing though. At a party you're yourself and you have to be yourself
Yeah, they're just being assholes.
That has nothing to do with your alignment as introverted or other.
With an audience, they only see what you want them to see. It's why I enjoy acting and LARP but hate social gatherings.
I mean, some people probably do think that way? My boss was pretty harsh about a couple of old employees who were apparently very quiet. She called them introverts in a way that made it sound like a horrible thing. But also she hates loud people too so who knows what she wants or how to be the absolute best perfect human
kbrighton I guess that makes sense. I still don't feel like an introvert. I do fine in social gatherings I think. They just bore me. xD
But I dunno. I will stop overthinking. I have an exam tomorrow.
hauntedreality I know how that feels. I worked in corporate for a few years. It was a confusing time. There was a slight preference towards people who are outgoing. Corporate is a game in a way.
